During the next few weeks, we are all going to experience a difficult time.
We would like to assure you that we are doing our utmost to adhere to public health directives.
We are trying, within public health advice, to carry on as normal.
Our clinic is being cleaned before and after each patient, all contact surfaces including, tables, door handles, handrails, etc, are wiped with antibacterial cloths and sprays.
Resources and therapy equipment are being cleaned and/or sterilised after each use.
Patients, accompanying family or friends and therapists are washing their hands thoroughly before and after each patient.
Staff going into schools and care homes are washing their hands between each patient and are asking students and residents to wash their hands before and after therapy. Our staff will also follow the directives set by individual establishments.
Symptoms and Self-Isolation
We are asking staff to self-isolate if they show any symptoms of the coronavirus. We will text or phone you by 9am if the therapist is unable to see patients.
If the patient is showing any signs of a high temperature, cough or generally feeling unwell please do not bring them to their appointment and let us know by 9am. You can ring our office on (01603) 664433 and leave a message or contact the speech and language therapist directly.
If the patient receives therapy in their school or care home, and is currently absent or showing any signs of a high temperature, cough or generally feeling unwell, please contact us by 9am on (01603) 664433 and leave a message or contact the therapist directly. Please do not rely on the school or care home to contact us as they are currently overwhelmed with enquiries.
We reserve the right to refuse to see patients if they are unwell and/or showing any symptoms of the coronavirus
Coronavirus related cancellations that are received by 9am on the day of therapy will not be charged for.
We will provide you with regular updates.
